Supa-Liga Individual Awards

Summer Season 2020/21

To wrap up the Supa-Liga Summer 2021 season we present to you the final individual awards. During the season each match sees votes from the referees, scorers and staff that count towards the season MVP, Golden Gloves and the new Break-out player award. These votes are compiled and counted back to find the top player in each of those categories.

At the end of the season we also have awards for the Golden Boot and Pass Master. This is for the player from each category who scored the most goals or directly assisted the most goals, respectively. The race for the Golden Boot is a feature in almost every league or cup competition, but the Pass Master is unique to the Supa-Liga as a nod of appreciation and acknowledgement to those players who are goal providers as well as goal scorers.

The Break-Out player was a new initiative this season to recognise a player who had a very high-level season for the first time at a particular level. It may not have been their first season at that level, but their performances made them a regular stand-out for the first time. Finally the grand-final MVP a player whose performance in the grand final had a stand out effect on the performance of the team.
