Senior Futsal Academy
The Senior Futsal Academy is aimed at Supa-Liga and representative level players who need extra training on top of club futsal in order to develop technically and tactically. These sessions often have split foci with a major topic and a minor topic, and goal-keepers are usually included in either the major or the minor focus, if not both. Keepers also usually have separate tasks on top of just “keeping the ball out of the net” to develop their communication, awareness, reflexes and strength. For court players these sessions mean high intensity and very high thought processing requirements, developing the ability to plan and create situations several steps in advance of them happening, being one of the key aspects taken into consideration when planning activities and mapping out sessions.
The Senior Futsal Academy will run for a 8 week block with internationally successful coach Gregory Farrell. Each week will look to build to the next with exciting new tactics and informative concepts.
Places are limited, so please fill out this expression of interest form as soon as possible and we will then let you know if you have been successful. Successful applicants will then be sent the registration and payment forms.
